Star, commonly known as Stella, and I lived together for some time and she was one of the most charming, most beautiful women that a man could ever hope to know. An exquisite Scarlet Woman. In time we parted, and you can put that down primarily to my own youthful stupdity.

This particular issue was dedicated to this lovely lady, Cynthia, who acted unconsciously under the secret guidence of the forces of initiation as my Siren in the Crossing of the Abyss. Her beauty, charm and elegance surpassed the emotional turmoil she suffered through, unbeknownst to me at the time.
