NOTE: Eta, long-e, is represented on this site by either an H, which the upper case form resembles, or an italicized e, while for Omega, the long-o sound, italics are also employed, i.e. O and o. Because of it's similar appearance only, F and f have been used to represent the Digamma when writing Greek in English characters. Coph is a letter no longer used in Greek, Sanpi merely for its numerical value, and there is now another unused letter called Stau, equivalent to St, which resembles closely the Sigma-final and has the same numerical value as another letter which is no longer a part of the modern Greek alphabet, Digamma, 6.
